Hello to every one on the forum today I was able to code a 2003 bmw x5 where I had replace the dme and ews I decided to code all the modules just to see if it will take aslong as istad p which normally takes about 4 to 5 hours to my surprice this maxisys 905 mini did it is less than 20 minutes yes about 10 to 12 modules in less than 10 minutes the whole procedure I had just spent over 4 grand on the bmw icom2 with the isid and this litle thing just outclass it long live autel I keep smiling cheers. -

I'm curies to know why an 00' & an 01' x5 shows engine management as (DDE) Deisel Electronics on my 905..
The 00 only showed 2 modules while the 01 showed 17..
None of witch howerever showed the steering wheel angle module as other scanners Solus, X431 had.
Updates are needed to say the least. -

Yes I had similar problem with a 2000 also bi directionals are all wrong I tried to
activate a window motor and instead I got the wipers turned on and the washer pump I
got a nice bath I sent a data log on this hopefully it gets fix on the next update what
can I tell you happiness is not complete but some day it will be a kick as tool you will
see good day. -

Please make a complaint about this! If you don't, they may not look into it, which
means no fix! -

Agreed.. That's one thing I have not done as time is limited for us all at the shop..
I've been taking notes however what has & has not been functioning & will make
some complaints this weekend..
So for however the pro's have indeed surpassed the cons..
Very happy with my mini & I'm sure only time as well as great users who post there
issues as well as results will make the Maxisys line only better in the end.. -

Yes your right I did a dataloging also gave them a call they said they will look into it

That is good that people are sending in complaints and datalogs to Autel. I sent several to them and followed up with a phone call. If everyone that has a issue sends in information about software bugs. This will be a kick ass scanner very quickly. I do understand it is very hard or impossible to beta test every vehicle and make to very that all functions will work. I truly believe we the users need to be the testers of the scanner and find the bugs in the software. They did make it very easy to send in datalogs and file complaints to their server. -

Glad you enjoy our tool.I suggest you all send the datalog files to our server if you encountered some problems while testing a vehicle. Some big issues will be taken seriously and our engineers will contact you directly for details. But most of them will be handled by our engineers and you can see the fix in next version.If you are anxious to know the result of your datalog, you'd better send an email to support@auteltech.com to check. -

yes it really is amazing, i have ista in expert mode with icom2 and this little maxisys mini actually kick its ass big time, and this was before the last 2 updates, i will say its one of maxisys best make software so far at least for north america region, and getting better by the day,
